Mercos vs VentasxMayor: per-user pricing, B2B e-commerce as an add-on, and what changes for a wholesaler
For the manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler in Brazil pricing out Mercos and wanting to know what the price includes, what stays an add-on and what each one does better. Plans and prices checked on September 18, 2026, no screenshots, no adjectives.
In Brazil, when a manufacturer or distributor decides to get its orders under control, the first name that comes up is Mercos. Rightly so: it is a B2B sales-force tool with years in the market, an app that works offline and, according to its own site, more than 250 integrated ERPs. Comparing it with a wholesale platform is not a fight over "which one is B2B": both are. The difference is in what the main product is, what gets charged per user, and what stays an add-on.
This comparison takes the plans and prices Mercos published as of September 18, 2026, sets them next to ours as of the same date, and says plainly what Mercos does better. If the reader ends up choosing Mercos because what they need is an offline app for reps, the comparison did its job all the same.
Mercos plans, as published
Per mercos.com/planos-e-precos, checked on September 18, 2026:
| Plan | Price and users | Integrations | Commercial rules | Highlight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essencial | R$ 99 per user/month, prepaid; up to 3 users | 0 | 1 | Online and offline app, CRM with 1 pipeline |
| Pro | On request; any size | 1 | 5 | Price list and terms per customer, ABC curve |
| Performance | On request; any size | 3 | 20 | Check-in, routing, profitability |
| Enterprise | On request; minimum 15 users | 10 | 200 | Every feature, on-site training |
At the foot of that same page there are two sentences that matter more than the table: "implementation and training are services charged separately" and "an active plan is required to purchase the B2B E-commerce". In other words: the store where the customer buys on their own, by card, boleto or Pix through Mercos Pay, is not in any plan. It is an add-on on top of the plan, with a price that is not published.
Per-user vs. flat price: the math with reps
With one, two or three users and no need for a store, Mercos Essencial is cheaper than any wholesale platform: R$ 99, 198 or 297 a month. That has to be said plainly. The math changes at three moments, and all three arrive fast in a growing distributor:
- The fourth user. Essencial allows up to three. The fourth rep, the admin who keys in orders or the owner who wants to look force a move to Pro, priced on request and always per user.
- The price list per customer. In the published table it appears only from Pro. A wholesaler with three lists (walk-in, retailer, distributor) cannot stay on Essencial.
- The store. When the customer wants to buy on their own, at night or on a Saturday, the B2B E-commerce is needed, and it is an add-on.
Per-user pricing has a logic from the vendor's side and a problem from the wholesaler's side: it penalizes precisely the company that adopts the system most. When all six reps use it, you pay for six; when the seventh joins, it goes up. In VendasxAtacado there is one plan, a flat R$ 500 a month, with as many users and reps as the company needs, the store included and free initial implementation. With two users it is more expensive than Mercos; with six reps and a store, the comparison flips.

What has to be bought so the customer can buy on their own
Here is the fundamental difference between the two products, and it is not about quality but architecture. Mercos was born as a sales force: the center is the rep with their app, and B2B e-commerce was added later as a module on top of that center. VendasxAtacado was born as a wholesale store: the center is the private catalog where each customer logs in and sees their price, and reps are users of that same store. Neither architecture is better in the abstract. Each is better for a different company.

| What a wholesaler needs | Mercos | VendasxAtacado |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Per user; Essencial R$ 99, the rest on request | Flat R$ 500/month, no per-user or per-rep fee |
| Store where the customer buys alone | B2B E-commerce: add-on, requires an active plan | It is the platform |
| Price list per customer | From the Pro plan | Included |
| ERP integration | 0 / 1 / 3 / 10 by plan; 250+ ERPs per Mercos | Open API; Bling, Dux, Contabilium, Dragonfish, among others |
| Commercial rules (minimums, discounts, terms) | 1 / 5 / 20 / 200 by plan | No cap by plan |
| Offline rep app | Yes, Android and iOS, on every plan | No; the rep uses the web admin with their own user and portfolio |
| Checkout payment | Mercos Pay: card, boleto, Pix | Mercado Pago integrated, with surcharges or discounts by payment method |
| Implementation | Charged separately | Free, in days, no minimum contract |
| CRM, routing, check-in | Yes, by plan | Not a field CRM |
What Mercos does better
A comparison that does not acknowledge this is useless for deciding. Mercos has a rep app that works offline on Android and iOS on every plan, and for a distributor whose reps cover the countryside with patchy signal that is not a detail: it is the product. It has a CRM with pipelines, check-in, routing and product coverage per customer on the higher plans, which a wholesale platform does not offer because it is not a field CRM. It has Mercos Pay built into the checkout with card, boleto and Pix. And, per its own site, more than 250 integrated ERPs and more than 1,500 active B2B e-commerces.
If the operation is "ten reps on the road, with planned visits, who need to key in orders without signal", Mercos is the natural answer and per-user pricing is the cost of that field tool. There is nothing to argue.
When each one fits
Mercos fits when the business is won on the visit: reps on the road, a large portfolio, little signal, and the customer buys because the rep came by. The store is a complement for replenishment. VendasxAtacado fits when the business is won in the catalog: the customer already knows what they want, reorders on their own, sees their price and minimum without asking, and the rep develops accounts instead of copying orders. In the Gartner survey published in March 2026, 67% of B2B buyers prefer to complete a purchase without talking to a sales rep: for that buyer, the store is not an add-on.
The simplest rule: if B2B e-commerce is the first thing that will be asked for in the demo, choose the platform where it is the product and not the module. If the first thing is the rep app, choose the sales force. And in both cases ask for the quote with the real number of users, not two.

How VendasxAtacado handles it
The B2B store is the product: a private catalog where each customer logs in with their own user and sees their price list, their minimums and their account terms. Reps have their own access limited to their portfolio and place orders at each customer's terms, with automatic commissions. The open API and the integrations with the main ERPs (Bling, Dux, Contabilium, Dragonfish, among others; the list keeps growing) do not depend on the plan because there is only one plan: a flat R$ 500 a month, no minimum contract, free initial implementation. What we do not do is also stated: no offline app and no field CRM with routing. For whoever needs those, that is the comparison's answer.
Checklist before asking for a quote
- Count the real users: reps, admin staff, owner, accountant. Ask for the quote with that number.
- Ask which plan includes the price list per customer and what that plan costs.
- Ask for the B2B e-commerce price in writing, separately from the plan.
- Ask how many integrations the plan includes and whether your ERP is one of them.
- Ask how many commercial rules the plan allows and count your own (minimums, discounts, terms).
- Ask for the implementation and training cost in writing.
- Decide whether the business is won on the visit or in the catalog; that picks the architecture.
- Compare the annual total of both quotes at the same number of users.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Mercos cost?+
Per its plans page checked on September 18, 2026, the Essencial plan costs R$ 99 per user per month, prepaid, up to 3 users and with no integrations. Pro, Performance and Enterprise (minimum 15 users) are priced on request. Implementation and training are charged separately, and B2B E-commerce is an add-on that requires an active plan.
Does Mercos have B2B e-commerce?+
Yes. It is a store where the customer sees their price list and can pay by card, boleto or Pix through Mercos Pay. But it is not included in the plans: per the Mercos site, "an active plan is required to purchase the B2B E-commerce", and the add-on's price is not published.
What is the difference between a sales-force tool and a wholesale platform?+
A sales-force tool puts the rep at the center: app, portfolio, visits, routing, CRM; the customer buys through the rep and the store is a module. A wholesale platform puts the catalog at the center: each customer logs in and buys on their own at their list and terms; the rep is a user of that store. The first fits when the business is won on the visit, the second when it is won in the catalog.
Does VendasxAtacado charge per user?+
No. There is a single plan at a flat R$ 500 a month in Brazil, with every user, rep, list and integration included, no minimum contract and free initial implementation. With one or two users and no store, Mercos Essencial comes out cheaper; with several reps and a store, the math flips.
