How much does a wholesale online store cost? Fixed fee, sales commission and the costs you do not see
For the wholesaler who asked three platforms for a price and got three answers that cannot be compared: one charges a fee, another a commission, the third "it depends". Here is VentasxMayor's price with no fine print, the six costs that belong in the same spreadsheet and a calculator to run the numbers with your own figures.
"How much does it cost?" is the first question and the worst answered one, because every platform charges for something different: one per month, another per sale, another per user who logs into the admin, and almost all add charges that show up after signing. The only way to compare is to put every cost of the same month in the same column, with the business's real sales.
This article starts with VentasxMayor's price, because that is what you came for, continues with the six costs to ask any platform about before deciding, and ends with a calculator: enter the monthly sales and the other platform's terms, and the cost of each option comes out.
The short answer: what VentasxMayor costs
VentasxMayor charges a fixed monthly price with no revenue cap: a single plan with everything included. No sales commission, no per-user or per-rep fees, initial implementation included and no lock-in: you pay in arrears and can cancel at any time.
| Plan | Price per month | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Single plan | US$ 99.00 (Tax not incl.) | No sales or order caps. Unlimited products, customers and sales reps, every feature, implementation and support. |
The plan includes everything: a wholesale store on your own domain, unlimited products, customers and sales reps, every feature from the first month, implementation and a getting-started guide, and human support on WhatsApp plus an AI assistant. The full list is on the pricing page.
The six costs that belong in the same spreadsheet
- Monthly fee. What you pay flat. Ask whether it has tiers (by sales, products or orders) and what happens when you move up a tier. VentasxMayor has one plan with no cap.
- Sales commission. A percentage of every order. It is the most misleading cost: it looks small on the plan and becomes the largest once the store works, because it grows with sales. In wholesale, where the ticket is high and the margin is thin, one point of commission can be a meaningful share of the margin.
- Users and sales reps. If the platform charges per seat, every rep and every admin who logs in is another charge. Multiply it by the real team, not today's.
- Implementation. Uploading the catalog, price lists and customers; designing the store; migrating from the previous platform. Ask whether it is included, whether the platform does it or whether you have to hire someone.
- Extensions and hosting. On open platforms such as WooCommerce the software is free but the wholesale features (per-customer pricing, minimum order, customer approval) are paid plugins, and hosting, security and updates are on the business. Compared in VentasxMayor vs WooCommerce vs Tiendanube.
- Payment gateway. The Mercado Pago or other processor fee is charged by the processor, on any platform. Compare it separately and do not mix it with the platform's commission, which is a different charge.
Fixed fee or commission: where they cross
The math is simple: the monthly commission is sales × percentage, and the two options tie when that commission equals the fee. Dividing the fee by the percentage gives the sales level above which the commission costs more. With a US$ 99 fee and a hypothetical 2% commission, the crossover is at US$ 4,950 in monthly sales; above that, every dollar sold costs the business more with a commission than with a fee.

Enter the store's monthly sales and what the other platform charges under its plan. VentasxMayor's price is fixed. Nothing is sent to any server.
What shows up on no invoice
The biggest cost of a wholesale store is not charged by the platform: the business pays it in hours. Every order that arrives on WhatsApp and someone retypes, every price copied wrong from an old list, every rep who spends the morning taking orders instead of selling. When comparing platforms, ask which part of that work disappears: whether the customer sees their own price list and builds the order alone, whether the order lands in the ERP without being re-entered, whether the minimum and the discounts apply without anyone checking. How to measure that cost is in how to move orders from WhatsApp to the store.
How VentasxMayor solves it
- Fixed monthly price, no sales commissions. The cost does not grow with sales: the margin does.
- No per-user or per-rep fees. The whole team logs in, each rep with their own accounts, and the bill is the same.
- Implementation included and no lock-in. Catalog, price lists and customers are loaded with the getting-started guide; you pay in arrears and can cancel at any time.
- ERP integration included in the plan. Dux, Contabilium, Bling, Dragonfish and others, no separate modules: orders land in the ERP without being re-entered. See ERP integration.
