Your catalog is the digital showcase where your wholesale buyers browse and select products for their bulk orders.
How it works
Approved wholesale buyers access your portal and navigate by category, search products by name or SKU, and filter results by availability, price, or category. Each category can have a representative image and a featured banner. Products are displayed on cards with an image, stock indicator, and β if the buyer is logged in β their personalized price according to their assigned price list. Unregistered visitors can see the catalog but not the prices, protecting your commercial strategy and encouraging registration.
Available options
- Display modes: Choose between grid, list, or masonry view depending on the style that best suits your wholesale catalog.
- Category navigation: Organize your products into categories with custom images so your buyers can quickly find what they need to restock.
- Category banners: Add visual banners to each category to highlight volume promotions, new launches, or special conditions for wholesale buyers.
- Search: Your buyers can search for products directly from the search bar by name, code, or reference.
- Stock indicators: Each product card shows current availability β key information for wholesale buyers planning their orders.
- Hidden prices for visitors: Prices are only shown to registered and approved buyers, protecting your wholesale pricing strategy.
- Personalized pricing: Each buyer sees the prices from their assigned price list, allowing you to manage different discount levels per customer or group.
Export the catalog
From the Catalog module you can generate downloadable versions of the catalog (PDF or CSV) to share with buyers who prefer an offline file. When you set up the export, you can choose which categories to include; selection currently works at the category level, not per individual product. If you want to export specific products, export the category that contains them or use the bulk product export to Google Drive from Tools.
Downloadable catalog settings
Before downloading, you can tweak how the catalog is built:
- Show images: turn image display on or off.
- Larger images: option to show images at a bigger size.
- Show prices: shows or hides prices. Useful for sending price-less versions to leads or new contacts.
- Featured banners: include or remove banners (e.g., the "NEW" banner).
- Hide categories with one click: each category has an eye icon next to it to hide it from the downloadable catalog without deleting it. Useful for assembling tailored catalogs per customer or campaign.
CSV with embedded images in Google Sheets
If you download the catalog as CSV and want to work it in Google Sheets seeing the images (not just the links), follow these steps:
- Create a new Google Sheets, File > Import and upload the downloaded CSV.
- Uncheck the Convert text to numbers, dates, and formulas option during import.
- Once imported, open the file and select the column with the image links.
- In Edit > Find and replace, in the Find field type the symbol
'and leave the Replace field empty. Check the Also search within formulas box. - Click Replace all.
- The links turn into embedded images and you can edit the catalog freely while keeping the visual view.
Tips
- Use high-quality, professional images on product cards β your wholesale buyers expect a serious, trustworthy catalog.
- Organize your categories based on how your B2B customers shop: by product line, by brand, by season, or by business type.
- Try the different display modes: list view usually works better for wholesale catalogs with many SKUs, while grid view better highlights visual products.
- Use category banners to communicate volume discounts, new launches, or special seasonal conditions.
