From the product form you can fill in all the information needed to publish an item in your wholesale portal: name, base price, technical description, images, and more. Every product you add will be available for your approved wholesale buyers to include in their orders.
How it works
To create a new product, click the add button from the product listing. A form will open with several sections organized in tabs.
In the main tab you fill in the basic details: product name, code or SKU (essential for wholesale operations and ERP integration), rich text description, additional details, and materials using tags. You can also assign the product to one or more categories in your wholesale catalog so buyers can easily find it when browsing your portal.
The pricing section lets you set the base price for the product. This price serves as the general reference, but keep in mind that each wholesale buyer may see a different price depending on their assigned price list, which is essential in the differentiated pricing model of wholesale commerce.
Product dimensions (width, height, and length) can be filled in to calculate shipping costs when applicable, which is important for wholesale orders where shipment volume and weight significantly impact logistics.
An optional promotional price can be set alongside the regular price to signal temporary offers to your wholesale buyers.
You can check the price history to see how the product value has changed over time, which is useful for analyzing the pricing strategy of your wholesale operation.

Tips
- Always fill in the code or SKU to facilitate inventory management and ERP synchronization. Wholesale buyers frequently place orders by referencing product codes.
- Use the rich text description to include technical specifications, product sheets, packaging information, and units per case or bundle -- data that wholesale buyers need to make purchasing decisions.
- If the product has variants (such as sizes, colors, dimensions, or packaging formats), configure them in the options tab instead of creating separate products. This simplifies the purchasing experience for your wholesale customers.
- Take advantage of the materials and details tags to include relevant information such as country of origin, composition, or certifications -- data that wholesale buyers commonly require.
