When a buyer signs in to your store they get their own area: the orders they placed, their details and their stock alerts. From there they repeat orders without asking you for anything.
Step by step: repeating an order
The buyer does this from their account.
- They sign in to your store with their email.
- They go to My orders.
- They find the order they want to repeat and tap the repeat button.
- The products load into their cart and they confirm from there.
If a variant from the original order no longer exists, the system says so and builds the cart with the rest.
The three account sections
- My orders: the full history, with each order's status and shipment tracking. From an order's detail they can Print.
- My profile: their contact details (first name, last name, phone, mobile), their tax details (business name, tax ID, tax condition) and their delivery addresses.
- My alerts: the stock subscriptions they have active.
If you enabled the Marketing Kit with its account placement, a fourth section appears with the resale material.
The account's design is chosen in the editor, in Screens → Account, and the order detail's design in Screens → Order detail.
Addresses
The buyer can save as many addresses as they need in their profile, and choose which one to use on each order. This is what buyers with several branches or warehouses use.
Each order goes to a single address. If they need dispatch to several places, they have to place one order per place.
Back-in-stock alerts
If a product is sold out, the buyer can subscribe from its page to get an email when it is back in stock. Their active subscriptions are listed in My alerts.
The subscription is released after the first notification: it is one alert, not a permanent watch. If several products come back at the same time, everything is grouped into a single email.
An anonymous visitor cannot subscribe: they have to sign in first.
The resale material
This is a separate page, at your store address followed by /kit. You switch it on from the editor, in Content → Marketing Kit.
There you choose what the buyer can download, each item separately:
- Photos (ZIP): the photos of the products they pick.
- Price list and CSV: these only appear if that buyer is entitled to see prices.
- Catalog PDF.
You also choose where the entry point shows: on the product page, in the footer, in the account or on order confirmation. If you do not switch it on, the buyer sees none of this.
What the buyer CANNOT do
Three things that get asked about often and do not exist:
They cannot download invoices or tax documents. The account has no invoices section, and the order detail does not include the tax invoice or the CAE. All it offers is Print for the order. You get invoices to them outside the store.
They cannot change their password. Normal sign-in is by emailed link, with no password. If you enabled password login, that password is assigned by the administrator from the customer record, and only the administrator can change it.
They cannot rate the order. There is no rating or suggestion flow after the purchase. What you can do is ask for opinions through another channel and publish them with the Testimonials block.
If you cannot find it
- The buyer cannot find their invoices: that section does not exist. See above.
- The resale material section does not appear: the Marketing Kit is off, or its account placement is unticked in Content → Marketing Kit.
- The price list buttons do not appear in the kit: that buyer does not have prices enabled. With Show prices to visitors off, an anonymous visitor does not see them.
- The buyer does not see their orders: they are browsing without a session.
- You want to see the account as a customer sees it: in the editor, below the Save button, set the row to Customer and pick a price list.
