Manage the users who have access to your wholesale operation's administration panel.
How it works
You can add multiple administrators to your account, each with specific permissions based on their role within the wholesale operation. This lets you delegate tasks without compromising security by granting access only to the modules each person needs. Typically, a wholesale operation involves the owner, the commercial team (salespeople), the logistics team, administration, and billing.
Available options
- Add administrators: Invite new users to the admin panel with their email β you can add salespeople, logistics managers, billing staff, etc.
- Edit permissions: Modify each administrator's permissions at any time as their responsibilities change.
- Granular permissions: Control access by module β products and catalog, wholesale orders, buyers and customers, sales reports, billing, and settings.
- Remove administrators: Revoke an administrator's access when it is no longer needed or when they leave the company.
Available permissions per section
Administrators have permissions per module. When you enable a permission, the administrator can view, create, and edit within that section:
- SETTINGS: access to business configuration (general data, sales conditions, payment/shipping methods, communication).
- CUSTOMERS: see the customer listing, create new customers, edit data, and generate reports.
- ORDERS: see orders, create manual orders, modify, and cancel.
- SELLER: restricted access to sales-rep mode β only sees customers and orders linked to their portfolio. Does not access the rest of the system.
- TOOLS: access to advanced tools (importers, exporters, bulk price modification, image importer, integrations).
- STATISTICS: access to the metrics dashboard and sales reports.
- PRODUCTS: view, create, modify, and delete products in the catalog.
- MANAGER: advanced permissions over system management, including user administration and overall supervision.
Difference between Manager and Seller
The SELLER permission is the only one that limits visibility per portfolio: the seller only sees the customers assigned to them (and the ones they create themselves) and the orders from those customers. They cannot see other sellers' or the manager's orders or customers.
Any other permission (CUSTOMERS, ORDERS, etc.) without the SELLER permission grants full visibility over the section. To create a "pure" seller access, assign only the SELLER permission.
Tips
- Assign only the necessary permissions to each administrator β your logistics team does not need access to pricing configuration, and your salespeople do not need to modify billing.
- Periodically review the list of administrators and remove those who are no longer part of the team. In wholesale operations, personnel changes can be frequent.
- The account owner always retains full access to all modules.
- For seller-style profiles, assign only the SELLER permission. Otherwise they will see customers and orders from the entire operation, not just their own.
- When you enable a permission, the administrator can create and edit within that section. If you only want read-only for someone, do not give them manager permissions and handle the data yourself.
