In wholesale, a buyer commits to a large order based on what they see. The product gallery lets you upload several photos, sort them, edit them and give each variant a photo of its own.
Step by step
- In the side menu, go to Catalog → Products and open the product.
- Go to the Images tab.
- Tap Upload and pick your files. You can select several at once.
- The first image in the gallery is the cover: it is the one that shows in the catalog listing and in the cart.
- Tap Save at the bottom of the form.
Sorting the photos
The gallery does not drag by default. First tap Reorder, the button with the cross of arrows. It turns blue, and only then can you drag photos into place. When you are done, tap Reorder again to leave the mode, then save.
If you drag without activating that button, the cursor shows the "not allowed" symbol and the photo snaps back.
Edit, hide and delete
These three actions work on the selected photos: click a photo to tick it. Doing so reveals the matching buttons in the top bar.
- Edit: enabled with exactly one photo selected. Opens the image editor.
- Hide / Show: the photo stays in the gallery but is not published.
- Delete: removes it from the gallery.
- The button with the X and a number clears the whole selection.
Double-clicking a photo opens it full size in a new tab.
The image editor
It has five tools:
- Crop: framing, with ready-made ratios (Free, 1:1, Portrait, Story, Custom) and Focal point, which you drag to mark the important area of the photo.
- Adjust: Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Blur and Sharpen.
- Rotate: turn left or right and flip horizontally or vertically.
- Filters: B&W, Sepia, Vivid, Cool, Warm, Faded, Dramatic, Matte and Boosted.
- Remove background: cuts out the product and leaves it on a flat background, with the AI model running in your browser. The first run is slow because it downloads the model; after that it is cached.
You have Undo, Redo and Reset while editing.
Videos and SVG files cannot be edited: the editor warns you and does not open.
Videos and YouTube
Upload an MP4 like any other file, or tap the YouTube button and paste the link to the video or Short. The video shows in the gallery alongside the photos.
That URL field is for YouTube only. You cannot load images by pasting a link: photos come in as files, one at a time or by ZIP.
One photo per variant
The photo for each color or size is not loaded on this tab. It goes on the Options tab: every row in the variant table has a thumbnail box on the left, and that is where you upload that variant's photo. When the buyer picks it in the store, that image is shown.
Uploading photos in bulk
In Configuration → Tools, card Batch import images and videos, you upload a ZIP.
Build the ZIP with one folder per product, named with the product code:
ABC-100/
front.jpg
side.jpg
DEF-200.jpg
ABC-101/
1.jpg
- The folder matches the product's Code. The product name is never used.
- Inside the folder, if a file is named exactly like a variant's Code, that photo is assigned to that variant. The rest go to the product gallery.
- A flat ZIP of
CODE.jpgfiles also works, with one photo per product. - Before importing you see a table with the code, the product and how many photos each one brings. Codes that do not exist in your catalog are discarded.
Re-uploading the same ZIP replaces nothing. Each file is remembered by its path inside the ZIP, so duplicates are skipped. If you uploaded photos that are too heavy and want to swap them, delete the old photos from the product gallery and upload a new ZIP with different file names.
Downloading the photos
The dashboard has no photo download: the Google Drive export exports data, not image files.
The only photo download that exists is the new store's /kit page, the Marketing Kit, built so your resellers can take the material away. You enable it from the editor: EDIT STORE → Content → Marketing Kit, switch Enable Marketing Kit, with Photos (per-product ZIP) ticked under What they can download. Then you go to your store address followed by /kit and download from there, choosing between Light (800 px), Social media (1200 px) and Original.
Recommended size
VentasxMayor accepts any resolution and rejects no file for its size. As a recommendation, 1000 × 1000 pixels in JPG or WEBP is a good target: sharp on phone and desktop without slowing the store down. Keep the same ratio across the catalog so the grid stays even.
If you cannot find it
- You cannot drag the photos: you have not activated the Reorder button.
- You cannot see the Edit button: it only enables with one photo selected, and it does not work on videos or SVGs.
- You cannot see the Marketing Kit: it is a new-store feature. The /kit page does not exist in the classic store.
- You uploaded a ZIP and nothing happened for some products: those folder codes do not match any Code in your catalog.
