The fastest way to create a discount is to start from a template: a ready-made promotion that you then adjust to your liking. When you click New discount you pick a template and the wizard comes pre-filled; you just change the values and save.

Recipes by goal
Can't find the exact template? Any promotion is built by combining the five pieces. Some common recipes:
Sell more by quantity (wholesale)
Volume by cart or by product, retroactive mode. The base promotion for any wholesaler.
Move seasonal stock
Scope by category + active period by date range + percentage effect. Add a stock condition to clear out only what's nearly gone.
Reward the loyal customer
Audience recurring segment (or VIP customers included) + percentage effect, stackable with the rest.
Reactivate dormant customers
Inactive segment audience (e.g. 60 days without buying) + coupon by email + active period with a near expiration to create urgency.
Raise the average order value
Free shipping by minimum amount, or a "round" volume tier (e.g. 12 units) that invites them to top up. The store shows how much is missing.
Launch an event (Black Friday)
Active period by calendar with the exact date + percentage effect over the whole cart + "Replaces" stacking if you want it to be exclusive.
Push a complementary product
Cross-sell: buy A and get B at a discount.
Welcome new customers
First-purchase audience + WELCOME coupon + percentage effect, 1 use per customer.
After picking the template
- Adjust the values (thresholds, percentages, dates, products).
- Review who it applies to and when.
- Define how it combines with your other promotions.
- Test it in the Simulator.
- Activate it and track its performance in Reports.
