The informational sections of your store: How to buy, Who We Are, the contact form, a section of your own, and the legal pages.
Step by step: editing How to buy or Who We Are
- In the side menu, go to Configuration → Communication.
- The screen opens with Checkout notice before finalizing purchase already selected. Ignore it.
- On the left, in the Store sections list, click How to buy or Who We Are.
- Write the text in the editor on the right.
- Tap Save.
The section only appears in your store's menu once it has content. If you leave it empty, the tab is not shown.
The six text sections of the store
In Configuration → Communication, the Store sections list has exactly six entries:
| Section | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Header announcement | The strip at the very top, on every page |
| Checkout notice before finalizing purchase | The last step of the purchase |
| How to buy | The How to buy tab in the menu, at /comocomprar |
| Who We Are | The Who We Are tab, at /quienessomos |
| Custom section | Your own page, at /personalizada |
| Landing Page | What visitors without an account see when the catalog is closed |
Further down, the same screen has the automatic emails groups and Others, holding the abandoned cart WhatsApp message, the order-completed screen, and the policy and terms texts.
What the section editor accepts
It is a rich text editor. It accepts:
- Headings, bold, italics, lists and tables.
- Links.
- Images, uploaded straight into the editor.
It does not accept HTML code or embedded videos. If you paste a YouTube iframe, the system discards it and nothing is shown. A YouTube link renders as a text link, not as a player. There is no way to put a video inside these sections.
The custom section
In Configuration → Communication, pick Custom section. There you enter a Custom Section Title and the content. Once both are filled in, the section is published and appears in the store menu with the title you gave it, at the address /personalizada.
There is only one. You cannot create several internal pages each with its own address.
The custom menu button
This is an extra button in the store menu that points to an external address. Use it to link your corporate site, your retail store or a landing page.
It sits at the bottom of Configuration → Communication, in the Custom Button card: one field for the button text and another for the link. When the buyer clicks it, it opens in a new tab without taking them out of the store.
There is only one.
The landing page for visitors without an account
If your catalog is closed, anyone arriving without an account sees no products. What they see is the Landing Page section in Configuration → Communication: "The main message visitors see before signing in. Only applies when you have the closed catalog configured."
That is where you put the welcome text and images. It is what you use when you want to show a banner to someone who has not created a user yet.
The contact form
You configure it in the side menu, under Store design → Contact. It has three cards:
- Contact banner: an image shown above the form.
- Custom texts: the Title (leave it empty and your store name is used) and the Subtitle.
- Additional fields: your own questions added to the form. The answers arrive inside the contact email.
The Name, Email and Message fields are fixed and always present. The questions you add can be free text, single choice or multiple choice.
On the right there is a form preview that updates as you edit.
The legal pages
Your store generates three pages on its own:
- Cancellation policy, at
/arrepentimiento. From there buyers can send you a return request. - Privacy Policies, at
/politicas-privacidad. - Terms of Use, at
/terminos-de-uso.
The text of the last two is edited in Configuration → Communication, in the Others group.
Page under construction
The Page under construction switch is in Configuration → General, not in Communication. With it on, your buyers see a notice instead of the catalog.
If you cannot find it
- You do not see the How to buy or Who We Are tab in your store: the section is empty. Give it text and it publishes itself.
- You opened Communication and see a different text: the screen always opens on Checkout notice before finalizing purchase. Pick the section you want from the list on the left.
- You pasted a video and it does not show: the editor discards the HTML.
- You want to upload a PDF as an online catalog: there is no pages section that accepts a PDF. The real route is the Catalog builder, at Catalog → Catalog builder, which generates its own public link to share.
- You need more than one page of your own: not possible. There is only one custom section.
