How it works
In this section you configure the fundamental data for your company: business name, commercial description, tax information, and contact details. This information is used throughout the platform β from the public wholesale portal to receipts, invoices, and notifications that your buyers receive.
It is important to complete these details correctly since your wholesale buyers are businesses that need valid tax receipts and clear commercial data from their supplier.
Form fields
Company information
- Name and description: Your company's legal or trade name and a description of your wholesale business (distributor, importer, manufacturer, etc.).
- Tax information: Tax ID and tax status for invoicing. Essential for issuing valid receipts to your B2B buyers.
- Timezone and currency: Set the timezone for your operation and the currency you sell in. VentasxMayor operates in 9 countries across Latin America and the USA β each account is configured with the corresponding local currency.
- Contact emails: Define separate emails for website inquiries, wholesale order notifications, and shipping alerts. This lets you organize communications with your commercial team.
- Social media: Add links to your professional social media profiles.
- QR code: Generate a QR code that directs to your wholesale portal β useful for trade shows, business cards, or printed materials.
IVA/Tax configuration (3 modes)
- Final price (radio): Prices are shown as-is, with no tax adjustment. For businesses that include tax in displayed prices.
- Plus IVA (radio): Prices are shown without tax and IVA is added at checkout. Common for wholesale B2B sales where buyers are registered taxpayers.
- Add IVA (radio): IVA is calculated and added to the displayed price. The buyer sees the price with tax included.
- IVA rate (number, conditional): IVA rate percentage (default 21%). Shown when "Final price" is not selected.
Stock management
- Hide stock (toggle): Hide stock quantities from wholesale buyers. They see availability but not exact numbers.
- Hide out-of-stock products (toggle): Automatically hide products with 0 stock from the catalog. Requires confirmation when enabled.
- Hide out-of-stock options (toggle): Hide specific variants or options that are out of stock (e.g., a sold-out size).
Sales conditions
- Minimum purchase (price): Minimum order amount for wholesale purchases. Orders below this amount cannot be placed.
- Restock minimum purchase (price): Different (usually lower) minimum for restock orders from existing buyers.
- Minimum purchase expiration (integer + "days"): Number of days before the restock minimum expires and reverts to the standard minimum (placeholder: 60).
- Sales rep minimum purchase (toggle): Whether the minimum purchase applies when a sales rep places the order on behalf of a buyer.
- Minimum wholesale quantity (integer): Minimum total units per order (placeholder: 100).
- Restock minimum quantity (integer): Lower minimum units for restock orders (placeholder: 50).
Discount levels
- Discount type (select): "By Amount" or "By Quantity". Determines how progressive discount tiers work.
- Discount levels (dynamic table): Configure progressive discount tiers. Each tier has a threshold (amount or quantity depending on type) and a discount percentage.
Customer access
- Purchase without registration (toggle): Allow wholesale buyers to purchase without creating an account.
- Closed registration (toggle): Close registration. New buyers cannot sign up, only the admin can create accounts.
- Hide Consumidor Final (toggle): Hide the "Consumidor Final" (end consumer) IVA option from registration. Forces wholesale-only registration.
- Hide Exento (toggle): Hide the "Exento" (exempt) IVA option from registration.
Registration questions
- Registration questions (dynamic list): Custom questions shown during buyer registration. Can be free text, single-choice, or multiple-choice with configurable options.
Points of sale
- Enable points of sale (toggle): Enable physical location management (stores, showrooms, warehouses).
- Custom title (text, conditional): Custom title for the points of sale page. Shown when points of sale are enabled.
- Description (text, conditional): Description for the points of sale section. Shown when enabled.
Price lists
- Price lists (dynamic list): Create and manage price lists. Each has a code and a name. Assigned to buyers to offer differentiated pricing.
Classifications
- Classifications (dynamic list): Create and manage buyer classifications or industry types (e.g., Apparel, Food, Construction).
Communication
- Announcement (markdown): Scrolling announcement bar text at the top of the wholesale portal. Useful for communicating promotions, news, or important information.
- Custom button (two text fields): Button text + link URL. Shown in the portal header.
Customizable texts (tabbed editor)
- Checkout notice: Message shown during the checkout process.
- How to buy: How-to-buy page content.
- About us: About us page content.
- Custom section: Custom page with configurable title.
- WhatsApp cart message: Template for abandoned cart WhatsApp message.
- Welcome email: Custom text for the welcome email upon registration.
- Pending registration email: Email text when registration is pending approval.
- Order completed email: Email text when an order is completed.
- Order cancelled email: Email text when an order is cancelled.
- Order edited email: Email text when an order is edited.
- Policies: Privacy and return policies.
- Terms: Terms of use.
- Private landing: Private landing page for non-approved visitors.

- Complete all tax information correctly so your receipts are valid β your wholesale buyers need correct invoices for their accounting.
- Use different emails for orders and general inquiries: the orders email can go to the logistics team, while inquiries go to the commercial team.

- The QR code is especially useful if you participate in trade shows, exhibitions, or industry events.
