Custom domains

Connect your own domain to your wholesale portal so buyers access it from a branded URL instead of VentasxMayor's free subdomain. Works either with a brand-new domain (used exclusively for B2B) or, if you already have a domain in use for another part of your business, with a dedicated subdomain.

How it works

There are two common scenarios:

1. Dedicated domain: you register (or already own) a domain you'll use only for the wholesale portal — for example, mywholesale.com or orders-mybiz.com. You point the whole thing to VentasxMayor.

2. Subdomain on an existing domain: if you already run another site at mybiz.com (corporate page, retail store, blog, etc.), you can set up a subdomain dedicated to the wholesale portal — for example, wholesale.mybiz.com, b2b.mybiz.com or orders.mybiz.com. The main site stays untouched and the subdomain gives you a professional URL to send wholesale buyers to without migrating anything at the root.

Either way the flow is the same: you load the domain (or subdomain) into VentasxMayor and add the matching DNS record so it points to the platform. Once propagated, your buyers enter the wholesale portal by typing that address.

DNS record editor

The platform includes a DNS record editor where you can:

• See all the domain's records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.).
• Add new records (for example, the corporate-email SPF/DKIM/DMARC ones, or Meta/Google domain-verification records).
• Edit existing records (point a subdomain elsewhere, change TTL, etc.).
• Delete records you no longer need.

When the domain was purchased or transferred to VentasxMayor, the editor manages the DNS zone directly. If the domain still lives at an external registrar (your domain provider, Cloudflare, etc.), the editor is only a reference — actual changes have to happen in the registrar's panel.

Expiration and renewal

When the domain is registered or transferred to VentasxMayor:

• The screen shows the expiration date of the domain.
• If you enable auto-renewal, the platform renews the domain before expiration without manual intervention.
• If auto-renewal is off, you must renew manually before the expiration date or the domain drops and the portal becomes unreachable.

For externally managed domains this section doesn't apply — expiration is controlled at the registrar.

Form fields

• Primary domain: the URL you want buyers to enter the portal from (mywholesale.com, wholesale.mybiz.com, etc.).
• DNS editor: interactive list of DNS records with type (A / CNAME / MX / TXT / etc.), name, value and TTL.
• Auto-renewal (when applicable): toggle to let the platform renew the domain automatically before its expiration date.

Tips

• If you already have a domain in use (corporate site, retail store, blog), you don't need to migrate anything — a dedicated subdomain for the wholesale portal solves the case without touching the main site.
• After loading the DNS record, wait up to 48 hours for propagation before testing — DNS changes aren't instant.
• Coordinate DNS records with corporate email (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and with domain verification for Meta/Google: they all live in the same DNS zone.
• Setting up auto-renewal (when the domain is registered with VentasxMayor) prevents the wholesale portal from going down due to an admin oversight — buyers who hit a downed domain don't come back right away.
• If your domain stays at another registrar, keep the platform's DNS editor as a reference and make actual changes in the registrar's panel.
