Manage your network of distributors, resellers, and physical sales locations, and generate QR codes to connect the online experience with your commercial network's locations.
How it works
You can mark specific wholesale buyers as physical points of sale. This is ideal for wholesalers, distributors, and importers who sell through a network of resellers or retail shops. Each point of sale receives a unique QR code that can be used at the location to direct end customers to the online catalog or to identify the reseller in the system.
Points of sale are displayed on an integrated map, allowing visitors and buyers to find the nearest location in your distribution network.
Available options
- Assign points of sale: Mark existing wholesale buyers as physical sales locations. Each point of sale appears with its address and contact information.
- QR codes: Generate a unique QR code for each point of sale to print or display at the location. The code can direct to the online catalog with reseller-specific pricing.
- Integrated map: Points of sale appear geolocated on a map visible to your customers, making it easy to find the nearest location in your network.
How points of sale are added
There are two ways to add points of sale to the public store map:
- From the admin: open the customer in the Customers section and load the point-of-sale address inside their profile. The system geolocates the address and publishes the customer on the map.
- From the customer portal: if you have Points of sale enabled in the business settings, the registered customer can enter their profile and load their store address themselves. Once geolocated, it appears on the public map.
Enabling the section in the store
For the points-of-sale map to appear in the store, first enable the Points of Sale switch under Settings > Wholesale. When it is on, a new section is added to the portal with the interactive map and a search bar so any visitor can find the nearest location to their address.
This feature is optional: the system lets you offer it only when your business model includes a network of resellers you want to expose.
Tips
- Print the QR codes and share them with your resellers to display at their locations β it connects the physical experience with your digital platform.
- Make sure each point of sale address is correctly registered so it appears properly positioned on the map.
- This feature is especially useful for manufacturers and importers with distributor networks: it shows where your products are available and helps end customers find the nearest reseller.
- Use the points of sale map as a commercial tool to show new wholesale buyers the reach of your distribution network.
- If you enable customer self-service from the customer portal, you will end up with more points of sale loaded without manual work; wholesale customers have an incentive to register themselves because end consumers find them through the map.
