How your buyers' cart works, where the purchase minimum is set, and what to do with a cart that was never confirmed.
Step by step: setting the purchase minimum
- Tap EDIT STORE and open the Screens group.
- Open the Cart screen.
- In the Order minimums block, fill in Minimum order amount: the minimum amount for a new customer's first purchase.
- If you want a different minimum for repeat purchases, fill in Minimum reorder amount.
- Tap Save.
The five Order minimums fields
All of them apply to the whole business, not to a particular product.
- Minimum order amount: the minimum amount for the first purchase.
- Minimum reorder amount: the minimum amount for customers who already bought. Optional.
- Minimum quantity: units required to complete the first purchase.
- Minimum reorder quantity: the same idea for later purchases.
- Days for the reorder minimum: once that period passes without a purchase, the customer is asked for the initial minimum again.
There are no per-product or per-variant minimum quantities. Minimums always apply to the whole order.
When the buyer falls short, the cart shows how many units or how much money is missing, and confirms when they reach it.
Order notes
The note belongs to the whole order, not to each product. The buyer writes it at checkout, in the Notes field, with the helper text "Notes for your order (optional)".
There is no per-product notes field.
The three checkout formats
You pick them in Screens → Checkout:
- One page: everything in view, on a single screen.
- Step by step: a wizard that moves through stages.
- Express: leads with the total and the confirm button, and tucks the breakdown, the address and the payment methods into a drawer. It is the fastest way to close.
The payment and shipping methods your store offers are configured in Content → Payments & shipping.
Abandoned carts
Where to see them
- In the panel's side menu, go to Sales → Customers.
- Use the Abandoned cart filter and choose Yes.
- On the customer's row, click the yellow chip in the cart column. That customer's cart opens.
What you can do from there
- Complete order: loads the cart lines into the quick order so you can finish it. In that mode the purchase minimum does not block.
- Send by WhatsApp: builds a message with a link for the customer to finish the purchase. The text is editable before sending, and you can copy just the link.
WhatsApp is not automatic. It is a button you open when you decide to write to that customer.
What is automatic is the abandoned cart email. You configure it in the side menu, under Marketing → Auto-seller ®: you create an auto-email and pick the last cart as the trigger, with how many hours or days to wait.
The daily report
Configuration → Reports holds the Abandoned Carts Report: it arrives by email every day with the fresh carts, ranked by recovery odds, with contact details and a recommended action. You choose the hour you want it and which addresses receive it.
If the report mentions a cart you cannot find in the panel, check the Customers filter: the cart belongs to one specific customer and is opened from their row.
Deleting a cart
You cannot. A customer's cart view is read-only: there is no button to empty it or remove lines. The operation does not exist in the system.
Carts clear themselves after 90 days without activity.
If you need a cart to stop showing up sooner, the only practical route is to ask the customer to empty it from their own session.
An account is required to buy
Building a cart and placing an order requires being signed in. An anonymous visitor who tries to add something hits the sign-in wall. There is no way to enable the cart or the checkout without registration.
What you can do is show prices to a visitor without an account, with the Show prices to visitors switch in Content → Catalog & access. That is a different thing and it is often confused: seeing prices yes, buying no.
Attaching the payment receipt
Buyers cannot attach a receipt at checkout. The feature does not exist.
The alternatives are for them to mention it in the order notes, or to send it to you over WhatsApp or email.
Testing the cart without creating orders
In the editor, below the Save button, the Anonymous / Customer row lets you walk through the cart and the checkout as a buyer would. The store warns that this is a test mode: no real order is created.
If you cannot find it
- The customer is told the address is not valid: the chosen address is missing the street or the number. Have them enter it again using the map autocomplete and picking a suggestion, so the fields fill themselves in. With store pickup this validation does not apply.
- You cannot find where to configure payment methods: in the editor, Content → Payments & shipping.
- You changed a minimum and the store looks the same: you still need to tap Save in the editor.
- You are looking for a per-product notes field: it does not exist. The note goes at checkout, for the whole order.
