Manage your subscriber list and send periodic newsletters to keep your wholesale buyers informed about catalog updates, commercial terms, and market trends.
How it works
From Emails > Newsletter you can manage all aspects of your periodic communications to wholesale buyers:
- Subscriber management: view the complete list of buyers subscribed to your newsletter. You can add subscribers manually or let them sign up through your wholesale store's form.
- Import and export: upload buyer lists from a file or download your current database. Useful for syncing with your CRM or sales rep management system.
- Create newsletter: compose a new newsletter edition by selecting a template and adding the content you want to share β new products, price changes, volume promotions, or industry news.
- Send: dispatch the newsletter to your entire buyer list or to a selected segment by zone, sales rep, or purchase volume.
Available options
- Bulk import: upload a file with your wholesale buyers' email addresses to add them to your subscriber list.
- Export: download the subscriber list in a spreadsheet-compatible format for use in other marketing or management tools.
- Subscription form: visitors to your wholesale store can subscribe directly from the website to receive updates and offers.
Accessing Newsletter
To open the subscriber list, click your admin user (top right of the panel) and select Newsletter. This opens the list of emails captured by the newsletter form in the wholesale portal footer. You can also manage subscribers manually and export/import the list.
Sending mass campaigns to your full base
VxM does not send mass campaigns to your entire buyer base from the platform. For that kind of broadcast, export subscribers from Newsletter (or your customers from the Customers section) and load them into an external email marketing tool. Automated sends from the system are limited to transactional emails (confirmations, dispatches, abandoned cart) and Auto-Seller, which fires personalized emails by behavior.
Tips
- Periodically clean your subscriber list by removing bouncing addresses to maintain good sending reputation and prevent your emails from landing in spam.
- Offer valuable content for wholesale buyers: market trends, catalog updates, product guides β not just price promotions.
- Always respect the unsubscribe option; all emails include an opt-out link in compliance with email marketing regulations.
- Segment your sends based on buyer profile: an importer does not need the same information as a retailer buying wholesale.
- For larger campaigns, combine the Newsletter list with the Customers list β the first one tends to be leads that have not bought yet, the second is your active buyer base.
