Connect your wholesale store with major advertising platforms to sync product catalogs, measure conversions, and optimize your wholesale buyer acquisition campaigns.
How it works
From Settings > Advertising you can link your store with digital advertising platforms. Each integration lets you bring your products to new channels or track visitor behavior to improve your buyer acquisition campaigns:
- Meta Catalog (Facebook/Instagram): automatically sync your products to publish them on Facebook Shop and Instagram Shopping. While these platforms are better known for retail, many wholesale buyers discover suppliers through social media.
- Meta Pixel: install the tracking pixel on your store to measure conversions and create remarketing audiences targeted at professional buyers.
- Meta Conversion API: send conversion events from the server for more accurate measurement, complementing the Pixel.
- Google Ads: configure your conversion ID to track wholesale buyer registrations, completed orders, and WhatsApp clicks as conversions.
- TikTok Business: sync your product catalog and activate the TikTok pixel to measure your ad performance.
- Google Tag Manager: add your container ID to manage all your marketing tags from one place.
Available options
- Meta Pixel ID: your pixel identifier for storefront tracking.
- Conversion API token: key for sending events from the server.
- Domain verification (Meta): code that Meta provides as a meta-tag to verify domain ownership.
- Google Ads conversion ID: identifier for tracking conversion events such as registrations, orders, and WhatsApp clicks.
- TikTok Pixel ID: identifier for TikTok tracking.
- GTM container ID: Google Tag Manager identifier.
- Show prices in catalogs: when enabled, Meta, TikTok, and Google Merchant feeds expose real prices. When disabled, prices are listed as $1.
Meta Pixel + Conversion API
VentasxMayor combines the browser-side Meta Pixel with the server-side Conversion API. Whenever a business has both a Pixel ID and a Token configured, the server sends events directly to graph.facebook.com. This combination reduces data loss caused by ad blockers or browser load errors and improves event match quality.
Events VentasxMayor sends to Meta automatically when configured: catalog view, search, view product, add to cart, remove from cart, complete registration, contact, and purchase. Purchases are tagged with a unique event_id based on the order ID so the Pixel and Conversion API events are deduplicated.
Steps to configure it from the dashboard:
- Open Event Manager in Meta Business Suite and create a Web data source for your domain.
- Choose the option that activates Conversions API and Meta Pixel and complete the setup.
- In Settings, copy the Pixel ID.
- Further down, in Set up manually, generate an Access Token and copy it.
- In the VentasxMayor dashboard, go to Settings > Advertising and paste the Pixel ID into the Pixel ID field on the Meta card.
- Paste the token into the Conversion API Token field.
- Save the changes. From that point on Meta will receive events from both the browser and the server.
If you need to verify the domain in Meta (for example, to run ads), generate the meta-tag from Meta Business Manager β Brand Safety β Domains, copy only the value of the content attribute, and paste it into Domain verification. VentasxMayor injects that <meta name="facebook-domain-verification"> tag into the storefront HTML.
Meta Catalog (Facebook feed)
VentasxMayor automatically generates a CSV feed of your products at https://yourdomain/feed/facebook-catalog.csv. The file updates on its own and reflects product, description, image, and stock changes. By default, prices are output as 1 ARS to satisfy Meta's requirement that every item has a price. If you want to expose real prices in the feed, enable Show prices in catalogs in the business settings.
The feed includes: product ID, title, description, availability (in stock / out of stock), condition (new), price, link to the product page on your store, main image, brand (the business name), and Google product category when set on the category.
Steps to connect the catalog in Meta:
- In the VentasxMayor dashboard, go to Settings > Advertising and copy the Meta feed URL from the catalog card (the one ending in
/feed/facebook-catalog.csv). - Open Business Manager at business.facebook.com and go to Commerce Manager or Catalogs.
- Create a catalog of type Products or pick an existing one.
- Under Data sources, choose to add a scheduled data feed by URL.
- Paste the VentasxMayor feed URL and pick the currency that matches your store.
- Set the update frequency (daily is usually enough) and upload the feed.
Once processed, the products become available for dynamic ads, Facebook Shop, Instagram Shopping, and they can show up on the WhatsApp Business profile if you link the WhatsApp Business account to the Facebook page tied to the catalog.
Operational notes:
- Changes in your store propagate to Meta according to the frequency you configured. You can also force a refresh from Commerce Manager by re-importing the data feed.
- If you keep the placeholder $1 price, real prices are only visible to registered users on the wholesale store.
- For the catalog to show up on WhatsApp Business, the WhatsApp Business number must be linked to the Facebook page connected to the catalog.
TikTok Pixel
VentasxMayor injects the TikTok pixel into the storefront using TikTok's official library at analytics.tiktok.com/i18n/pixel/events.js. Events that VentasxMayor dispatches automatically when the pixel is active: ViewContent, Search, AddToCart, RemoveFromCart, CompleteRegistration, Purchase, Contact, and social interactions (Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok).
Steps to configure it:
- Open TikTok Ads Manager and create a Web Pixel under Assets > Events > Web Events.
- Choose the option to install the code manually.
- Copy only the Pixel ID (the string passed to
ttq.load('...'), e.g.CVUG3CBC67UA72LFDMPA). You do not need to paste the entire script. - In the VentasxMayor dashboard, go to Settings > Advertising and paste the Pixel ID into the Pixel ID field on the TikTok card.
- Save the changes. VentasxMayor builds the pixel snippet and dispatches events on its own.
To verify the pixel is active, browse your store with the TikTok Pixel Helper extension or check the Pixel status in TikTok Ads Manager once it starts receiving traffic.
TikTok Catalog
Just like Meta, VentasxMayor publishes a CSV product feed at https://yourdomain/feed/tiktok-catalog.csv ready to connect to TikTok Shop or TikTok Ads catalogs. The feed includes extra fields TikTok takes advantage of: product_type (category path joined with " > "), up to 10 extra images in additional_image_link, and materials when set on the product. The pricing rule is the same as Meta's: 1 ARS by default and real prices when Show prices in catalogs is enabled.
Tips
- Enable both Meta Pixel and Conversion API for more complete and accurate conversion data on your wholesale buyers.
- Make sure your products have complete images and descriptions before syncing catalogs, as platforms may reject incomplete listings.
- Set the Google product category on your categories so feeds include
google_product_category, which improves approval on Meta and TikTok. - Use Google Tag Manager if you need to manage multiple tracking tags without modifying the store each time.
- Focus your advertising campaigns on wholesale buyer acquisition: use lookalike audiences based on your best customers and target professional or commercial interests.
