The new store is the next generation of the VentasxMayor wholesale portal: a modern design built screen by screen and edited live from the store itself, with instant preview. It replaces the design settings of the classic panel.
How do I know which version I have?
- New store (v2): in your panel header, the button says EDIT STORE (pencil icon) and opens the live editor. In addition, some tabs of the classic panel (Wholesale, Design, Chat, Contact) no longer appear: that content is edited inside the store.
- Classic store: the header button says STORE and the design is configured from Settings β Design.
- Don't have the new one yet? In Settings you will see the "Your new store" panel with the Design my new store button: you can build the complete design as a private draft (your buyers keep seeing the current store) and your progress is saved. Going live is enabled by the VentasxMayor team during the gradual rollout β we'll let you know from that same panel when you can go live.
What changes for your buyers
- Composable screen-by-screen design: header, navigation, home, product card, product page, filters, cart, checkout, confirmation, login, my account, and more β each screen has several design variants to choose from.
- Visual identity with pre-built palettes and typography (dozens of styles: minimal, luxury, editorial, eco, etc.) that you can adjust color by color.
- Richer navigation: mega menus, side menus, prominent search, and catalog filters.
- Express checkout: a single screen focused on closing the order, leading with the total and the Confirm order button; the details, address, and payment methods sit in a collapsible section. There are also one-page and step-by-step checkout variants.
- AI shopping assistant + WhatsApp: a configurable floating chat button (Support section of the editor), exclusive to the new store.
- Pre-orders: sell products before you have them, exclusive to the new store (see the pre-orders article).
- Pro Mode: a fast order desk for repeat purchasing β a flat catalog where the quantity is the cart, with order history at hand.
The live editor
It opens with Edit store (or Design my new store in draft mode). It is a side panel mounted on top of your real store, with live preview on desktop, tablet, and mobile, and in all three languages.
It is organized in three groups:
- Style: Ready-made designs (complete combinations made by designers: pick one and the whole store changes at once), Palette and typography (the visual identity, adjustable color by color, with a font finder by style), and Shape (corner rounding and a header that stays fixed on scroll).
- Content: Brand (logo, name, slogan, social media, footer links), Banner (cover with photos or videos), Home (choose and arrange the home page blocks: product carousels, promotions, testimonials, gallery, video, FAQs, newsletter, and many more), your own Pages with their URL, Catalog, Taxes and prices, Payments and shipping (including the Mercado Pago connection), Pro Mode, Legal (country-mandated seals and buttons), Contact, Emails, Support (AI assistant and WhatsApp), Menu, Marketing (Google, Meta, and TikTok pixels), and Under construction.
- Page: the Overview shows each screen with its current design β tap one to change its variant or customize it.
Saving: the Save button publishes the changes if your new store is already live, or persists the private draft if you're still on the classic one. If two people edit at the same time, the system warns you and lets you load what was saved or overwrite it.
What happens to your classic configuration
When you create the draft, the content carries over on its own: logo, banners, name, description (as the slogan), social media, and footer links. However, the classic store's colors, typography, and grid are not inherited: the visual identity is defined from scratch in the editor's Palette and typography.
Several settings move from the panel to the editor once you're on v2: VAT and taxes, payment and shipping methods, order minimums, Data Fiscal seal, marketing pixels, chat and contact form, custom button, and custom pages.
Tips
- Take advantage of draft mode: design the complete new store at your own pace, without affecting your buyers, and go live when it's ready.
- Start with a Ready-made design and then adjust the palette: it's much faster than building everything from scratch.
- If the editor warns that the design is close to the size limit, shorten texts or remove blocks before saving.
