Your wholesale buyers can manage their account, review orders, download invoices, and repeat purchases from a self-service area on your wholesale portal.
How it works
When a wholesale buyer logs in to your portal, they access their personal dashboard where they can view and manage all their commercial information without needing to contact you. This is especially valuable in B2B operations, where buyers need quick access to order history, invoices for their accounting, and the ability to repeat recurring orders:
- My profile: The buyer can view and edit their commercial details β company name, email, phone, tax information, and delivery addresses.
- My orders: Shows the complete wholesale order history with the current status of each order (confirmed, in preparation, shipped, delivered), allowing them to track shipments.
- Invoices: The buyer can access and download invoices and receipts from their past purchases β essential for their accounting and tax compliance.
- Reorder: With a single click, the buyer can repeat a previous order with the same products and quantities β a key feature for recurring restocking purchases.
Available options
- Edit profile: Allows the buyer to update their company name, email, phone, and tax information.
- Manage addresses: Add, edit, or delete saved delivery addresses β useful for buyers with multiple branches or warehouses.
- Change password: The buyer can update their login password at any time.
- View order details: Check products, quantities, prices, applied discounts, and shipping status for each order.
- Download invoice: Get the tax receipt in a downloadable format for each purchase.
- Reorder: Create a new order based on a previous purchase, keeping products and quantities. Ideal for stock replenishment.
Catalog download and stock subscription
From the buyer portal, customers can:
- Download the catalog: get the full catalog in PDF or CSV format to review offline or share with their purchasing and warehouse teams.
- Subscribe to stock: when a product is out of stock, the buyer can subscribe from the product page to receive an automatic email when it is back in stock. The subscription is released after the first notification. If multiple products come back at the same time, the system bundles everything into a single email so buyers are not flooded.
Multiple addresses per order
Buyers with multiple branches can save all their delivery addresses in their profile and pick which one to use when placing each order. Each order ships to a single address; if the buyer needs delivery to multiple locations, they must place separate orders.
Post-purchase rating and feedback
After completing an order, the customer has the option to rate the experience and leave suggestions for the administrator. It is voluntary feedback: it helps you spot problems with a specific buyer before they turn into complaints or supplier switches.
Tips
- The reorder function is the most valuable feature for wholesale buyers β most B2B purchases are recurring and repeating an order with one click saves significant time.
- Encourage your buyers to complete their profile with all delivery addresses, especially if they have multiple branches, warehouses, or delivery points.
- Make sure invoicing is correctly configured so buyers can download their receipts without issues β in B2B, the invoice is an essential document.
- The self-service portal reduces the workload on your commercial team by letting buyers check orders, invoices, and place reorders on their own.
- Promote the PDF/CSV catalog download with your buyers: it lets them review offline, share with their team, and prepare the order calmly before finalizing it in the store.
